Post-decree holistic mental health services ******************************************* I’m not a “traditional” coach or therapist, though I do have all of the training of a clinical psychologist & much more, including an anxiety & OCD specialization, two years training with Aaron T. Beck, the father of Cognitive Therapy, & 21 years of experience doing coaching, assessment & therapy. Clients joke that I use magic on them. They aren't wrong. I combine traditional & esoteric training with intuitive abilities to help high achievers find & heal what’s blocking their true American Dream. ******************************************* I provide telehealth services to clients across the country.

Like many Gen-Xers, I wanted to be Fox Mulder from the X-Files, but eventually found out that wasn’t an actual profession and was left feeling pretty disillusioned. So, I decided to pursue a degree in psychology, like Fox Mulder, but when I tried to study unexplained phenomena in my Master’s program, I was informed that, “We don’t do that here,” and if I wanted to avoid being laughed off campus, I should probably never talk about that again. So, I gave up on that and followed a traditional path. I plugged along for a while until my traditional life blew up. I got out of a domestic violence situation and found myself on the other side of the therapy room. The traditional therapeutic methods provided relief but not a level of relief I was satisfied with or a life I felt satisfied living. Given that I was desperate and really had nothing left to lose, I went back to my old interests, studying unexplained phenomena and utilizing esoteric methodology like extrasensory perception, dreams, shamanism, Pagan magic and plant medicines. Much to my surprise, these methods worked wonders for me and because of this, I wanted to be able to use them with clients. So, I gave up my license eligibility and pursued a holistic, esoteric and spiritual approach to healing mental health concerns. It’s been one of the best decisions I’ve made, albeit a major challenge because there is no template to follow on this path. But, I feel happier and relieved that I don’t have to hide who I really am anymore. ******************************************* My favorite clients to work with are high achievers who’ve obtained the American Dream but have become completely disillusioned, either because they’ve come to realize the American Dream is a sham or because they’ve had it burned to the ground through a major life event like divorce. ****************************************** These individuals overachieve and try to prove themselves so no one will realize that they are actually imposters. Perfectionistic to the core, they get upset with themselves when they can’t do something well the first time. And, they don’t like asking for help because they think they should be able to figure it out on their own. Failure seems like a fate worse than death, so they avoid it at all costs. They like to be in control and really dislike when they are not. Despite all of their accomplishments, they don’t feel that they contribute enough, are good enough, that they deserve good things and they have trouble getting excited about things because they fear they’ll just have further to fall. When they think of asking for help, they think it means they can’t handle it, are defective or will be a burden to others. They know they’ve reached their limit and probably need some help but they don’t know if they can bring themselves to ask for help. ******************************************* If you know anyone like this this, I can help them heal what’s gotten in the way of their authentic happiness and build a dream life that doesn't feel like a complete sham.
